Limited Capacity for June 15 Board Meeting; Overflow Available
(Dobson, NC) – The Historic Courthouse Board Room for the Monday, June 15 Surry Board of County Commissioners meeting will be open with a limited capacity of 29 due to social distancing guidelines. Overflow will be available at the Surry County Service Center, at 915 E. Atkins St., for anyone wishing to make public comments during the open forum or public hearings on private road names and the FY 20-21 budget. Social distancing guidelines should also be followed in the overflow space at the Surry County Service Center.
The meeting will be shown on the County’s website at www.co.surry.nc.us. Citizens can access the meeting on the homepage by clicking on “Board of Commissioners Meetings” and then clicking on “Live Video Broadcast” on the next page.
Public comments can also be emailed to email@example.com by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 15. The comments will be shared with the Surry Board of County Commissioners.
To reiterate, Surry County is adhering to social distancing guidelines with these adjustments to the Board meeting.
