Master Plan

Dear Citizen of Surry County: 

Surry County Parks and Recreation is preparing to update their Comprehensive Master Plan for the next 10-year period. To do this, community input is vital to the success of any master plan.  We request your help in this process. 

Below is a website link to the survey, which is the easiest way to fill out the survey. Also below is a QR code.  Please scan the code with your cellphone to complete our online survey. If you would like a paper survey, print the paper copy below or please contact Surry County Parks and Recreation at (336) 401-8235 ext. 3, and one will be provided for you. Please scan and complete your survey by Friday, August 12, 2022.  

The information we gather through this survey will help in many different ways.  We will be able to tell what the citizenry, such as yourself, wishes to focus on over the next decade.  We will also be able to further determine what can be introduced or improved upon in regards to County-controlled activities. Additionally, it will allow you, the citizen, to make your own personal recommendations about what you think the County could bring in to help satisfy the recreational needs of our natural resource-rich county.
