Immunizations

Vaccines for preventable diseases are provided each day of the week as “walk-in”, meaning no appointment is necessary.

  • Clinic hours:
    • Monday - Thursday 7:30 am-11:30 am and 12:30 pm-5:00 pm.
  • Clients of the SCH&NC Pediatric Clinic may call 401-8504. All others may call 401-8590. If away from the phone or assisting others, please leave a brief message and telephone number for a return call from the staff.
  • Services provided to ages 6 weeks to adults.
  • TB skin testing is provided on Monday and Tuesday of each week. Must return within 48 -72 hours to obtain test results. Payment by cash as TB skin testing is not filed with insurance carriers.

Recipients are encouraged to call their insurance carrier concerning vaccine coverage. If the carrier covers the requested vaccine, the insurance will be filed by the center. If the carrier does not provide coverage, the client will be expected to pay cash or check for the vaccine requested. For your convenience, credit or debit cards are accepted.

Travel vaccines provided through the immunization clinic include: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Meningitis, Typhoid, and Tetanus/Diphtheria. Vaccines not provided for travel include: Malaria, Smallpox, and Yellow Fever. May call for pricing, (336) 768-0717.  Titers (blood draws) for immunity to disease or vaccines are not provided.
