Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program

Our Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) is designed to reduce the incidence of breast and cervical cancer in North Carolina. Through the program, pap smears and breast exams are provided.

Patients are referred to local contractors for mammograms.

The target population for the program includes women who are at or below the 200 percent poverty level; are older; are uninsured or underinsured; and are minorities, including Native Americans. Women who are 40 years and older are eligible for breast cancer screening.

An appointment is necessary, and the fee is based on income.
