Are you energetic and can commit to serving your community on Election Day (typically 15hrs. continuously), at your polling place in a totally non-biased and non-partisan manner? If so, you may be interested in working with our Surry County Board of Elections team to process voters up to three times each even-numbered year. If you are not needed at the present time, then your name is automatically added to a pool of interested individuals to contact for elections down the road. Our Precinct Officials receive very detailed training on how to properly process voters prior to each scheduled election and are a direct reflection of our Democracy in Action!
Voter Registration Drives
If you need more than 100 NC Voter Registration Forms the State will be happy to send them directly to your group. If you only need up to 100 forms, you may visit our office (Located at 915 East Atkins Street, Dobson) to get them. You may complete the fillable form on-line, or print, complete it and fax to the State Board of Elections Office and they will send the forms directly to you.
