Summer Recreation Day Camp

DSCSummer Recreation Day Camp is a comprehensive agency program operated by Surry County Parks and Recreation staff.  It is located at two county-school sites:  Rockford and Franklin Elementary Schools.  This six week innovative program promotes the health and fitness of our County's youth by encouraging participants to stay active during summer vacation.

The dates for the 2017 Summer Recreation Day Camp are June 26 - August 4, 2017.  The half-day program will begin at 7:30 a.m. and run until 12:30 p.m.  (Half-day is morning only.)  The full-day program will begin at 7:30 a.m. and run until 6:00 p.m.


AGE LIMIT:

Day Camp is open to Surry County children who have attended and completed Kindergarten in the 16/17 school year. Additionally, the maximum age of the participants allowed at Summer Day Camp are children who are 12-years-of-age or younger. If youth turns 13 before August 1, 2017, they are not eligible to attend camp.

FEES:

The fee for the half-day program is $175.00 per child You pay $100.00 up front, and the last $75.00 the first week of camp.

The fee for the full-day program is $350.00 per child.  You will need to pay $240.00 up front, and the remaining $110.00 the first week of camp.  If you wish to pay the full amount, you may do so.
