Child Health Services
Our Pediatric Clinic provides comprehensive health services to infants and children. The Pediatric Clinic offers newborn screenings and well-child check-ups along with health care for sick children. Other services offered include vision and hearing, school physicals, sports physicals, immunizations, nutritional assessments, health education and counseling.
Our Pediatric Clinic has achieved national status as a Level 3, Patient Centered Medical Home (The first Health Department in North Carolina to achieve this accomplishment). A Patient Centered Medical Home is a national certification that proves a health care setting partners with the patients, the patient's family, and their personal physician to assure that the patient is receiving care when and where they need it, as well as, in a culturally appropriate manner. The clinic sees all children, with or without insurance, from birth to 18 years of age, and children with Medicaid until age 21. Please call 401-8439 to schedule an appointment.
