Email Notifications

Surry County is now offering email notifications for interested citizens when new content is added to various pages within this website.

In order to receive an email notification for pages that interest you, navigate to that particular page.  When you do so you will see a “Notify Me” link in the top right hand side of the page. Click on the link and enter your email address.  Shortly, you will receive a notice that an email is being sent to you.  Open the email and confirm your selection.  If you do not receive the email, please look in your spam or junk mail folders within your email browser.  Once you confirm our notification you will start receiving the notifications when content is added.

If you choose at any time to no longer receive email notifications, simple go to that page and click on the “Notify Me” link and place the same email address in the form field and you will receive a removal confirmation in the form of a pop-up window.
