    Surry County Emergency Services is the exclusive provider of emergency 9-1-1 transports and paramedic level service for Surry County including the City of Mount Airy, and the towns of Elkin, Pilot Mountain and Dobson.  Surry County is approximately 538 square miles, and has approximately 71,219 permanent residents.
